Career opportunities
With ´evidence based medicine´ setting new standards, specialists are needed in design, data collection, analysis and interpretation of epidemiological and health research. After graduation from the master grogramme, students are prepared for a subsequent PhD programme or directly for a career as epidemiologist in various settings, such as academia, (non)governmental public health organisations, (veterinary) medicine or (pharmaceutical) industry.
The programmes comply with the terms for registration as `Epidemioloog A´ or 'Epidemioloog B by the Dutch Epidemiology Society.
